PBC on NBC Weigh-in Results: Charlo, Campfort On Weight
Premier Boxing Champions’ next installment of PBC on NBC will go
off as planned Saturday afternoon inside the Bomb Factory in
Dallas, Texas. All four of the main card combatants were able to
make weight, though two had to hop back on the scale to hit their
marks.
Junior middleweights Jermall Charlo and Wilky Campfort headline the card as IBF titlist Charlo (22-0, 17 KOs) will defend his belt for the first time. Campfort (21-1, 12 KOs) was the first to the scale and he came in at 153.2 pounds. Charlo came in right on the junior middleweight limit; he weighed 154 pounds, but he had to weigh-in a second time after having to lose an additional four ounces.
The co-feature pits surging welterweight contender Errol Spence Jr. (18-0, 15 KOs) against veteran Alejandro Barrera in a 12-rounder. After Barrera (28-2, 18 KOs) clocked it at 146.4 pounds, Spence missed weight by two ounces. However, after the Texan shed the extra weight, he officially came in at 147 pounds.
NBC will televise the action beginning at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.
