The 30-year-old American Top Team ace started her career 14-0 before succumbing to first-round punches from Namajunas at UFC 217 in November, as the stunning upset sent shockwaves through the sport. Jedrzejczyk’s initial run as 115-pound champion included victories against Claudia Gadelha, Jessica Andrade, Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Carla Esparza. The degree of difficulty could not be higher for Namajunas, who has gone 5-1 inside the Octagon since reaching the final on Season 20 of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series.
