Proven middleweights answer the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s latest call to arms when MMA Lab mainstay Jared Cannonier meets former Legacy Fighting Alliance titleholder Gregory Rodrigues in the UFC Fight Night 251 headliner on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, New England Cartel ace Calvin Katter tackles Factory X standout Youssef Zalal in the three-round featherweight co-main event at 145 pounds.

40: Years of age for Cannonier. The oldest fighter on the card, he was born on March 16, 1984 in Dallas.

150,000: Dollars in post-fight bonuses pocketed by Rodrigues across his nine appearances in the UFC. The Kill Cliff Fight Club rep has been awarded “Fight of the Night” twice and “Performance of the Night” once.

913: Significant strikes landed by Kattar as a UFC featherweight, placing him ninth on the promotion’s all-time list at 145 pounds. Only Max Holloway (2,971), Cub Swanson (1,557), Alexander Volkanovski (1,367), Darren Elkins (1,177), Alex Caceres (1,056), Shane Burgos (1,040), Andre Fili (948) and Yair Rodriguez (914) have connected with more.

49: Rounds started by Zalal as a professional mixed martial artist. “The Moroccan Devil” has gone the distance on nine different occasions and carries a 3-5-1 record in those bouts.

11: Shahbazyan victories by knockout or technical knockout, accounting for 85% of his career total (13). His list of UFC victims: A.J. Dobson, Dalcha Lungiambula, Brad Tavares and Charles Byrd. Shahbazyan toes the line against Dylan Budka in a three-round middleweight showcase.

2,017: Miles between where Budka trains with the Demolition Fight Team in Findlay, Ohio, and Ultimate Fighting Championship headquarters in Las Vegas.

25: Seconds needed for Ismael Bonfim to punch out Mario Cesar under the Shooto Brazil banner on July 12, 2013. More than a decade later, it remains his fastest finish to date. Bonfim locks horns with Nazim Sadykhov in a three-round lightweight feature.

1: Stalemate on the Sadykhov resume. He settled for a majority draw with Viacheslav Borshchev at UFC 295 in November 2023.

9: Rodolfo Vieira wins by submission, accounting for 90% of his career total (10). His methods of choice: five arm-triangle chokes and four rear-naked chokes. A 2015 Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Fighting World Championships gold medalist, Vieira confronts Andre Petroski in a three-round middleweight attraction.

7: Consecutive calendar years in which Petroski has fought at least once. The Daniel Gracie protégé went 1-0 in 2018, 3-0 in 2019, 1-1 in 2020, 2-0 in 2021, 2-0 in 2022, 1-1 in 2023 and 2-1 in 2024.

100: Percent finish rate for Jose Delgado. The John Crouch disciple has secured all eight of his victories by knockout, technical knockout or submission, five of them inside one round. Delgado puts Connor Matthews to the test in a three-round featherweight appetizer.

22: Years of age for Elijah Smith. The youngest fighter on the card, he was born on Sept. 5, 2002 in Colorado Springs. Smith takes on Vince Morales in a three-round bantamweight prelim.

.767: Cumulative winning percentage between the 26 fighters slated to compete at the event. They boast a combined record of 346-104-3. Kattar owns the most wins (23) of anyone on the card, while Angela Hill has been saddled with the most losses (14). Hill collides with fellow former Invicta Fighting Championships women’s strawweight titleholder Ketlen Souza atop the undercard.
