Video: Ronda Rousey’s WWE Debut

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey made headlines on Sunday night during her contract signing by throwing Triple H through a table.

An emotional Rousey was introduced to the Las Vegas crowd with several mixed martial arts personalities in attendance supporting her including husband Travis Browne, former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and his teammate at American Kickboxing Academy and current UFC light heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier.

Triple H and wife Stephanie McMahon were also in attendance when “Raw” General Manager Kurt Angle, who had just ran through Rousey’s combat accolades, mentioned that revenge was on the menu with Triple H and Stephanie planning on setting her up after she previously clashed with the pair three years earlier at Wrestlemania 31.

That night Rousey teamed up with Hollywood superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to get one over the pair, which set up the drama on Sunday.

Rousey will make her official debut later this year at Wrestlemania, most likely as a mixed tag team alongside Angle up against Triple H and Stephanie.
