AXS TV’S ‘INSIDE MMA’ TAKES ON TRT AND FIGHTER PAY ON TONIGHT’S EDITION WITH HOSTS KENNY RICE AND BAS RUTTEN

(PRESS RELEASE) -- LOS ANGELES – On tonight’s episode of AXS TV’s INSIDE MMA, co-hosts Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten tackled two controversial subjects, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and accusations of unfair payouts for MMA fighters. On the former, Rice and Rutten interviewed Dr. Don Catlin the founder of UCLA’s Olympic Analytical Laboratory to get his opinion about TRT and its effects on the sport. Rice and Rutten asked Dr. Catlin about recently retired UFC fighter Chael Sonnen’s course of medical action to get back to feeling physically normal. And further during the in-depth interview, Dr. Catlin stated that he would block enhancing substances if he was on a MMA committee and thinks those who say they have hypogonadism are fibbing. The entire interview is here:

UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo appeared on the show not only to discuss his upcoming bout with Chad Mendes on Aug. 2 at UFC 176 at Staples Center, but to address the fact that he feels he is not fairly compensated. His views as well as Rice and Rutten’s thoughts are contained in the following clip:
