(PRESS RELEASE) -- After successful 2015, one of the best European

spectacular event that is to take place February 19 in Athens,
Greece. As already announced, Glory champ and one of the best
kickboxers in the world, Robin van Roosmalen, is to make his MMA
debut at the upcoming spectacle, while today FFC leaders announced
some more names that will fire up the show!
FFC President Orsat Zovko made a big step forward on the international stage, and for that he needed a roster reinforcement to be competitive with other leading organizations. It did not take long and only two days after the New Year’s day FFC leaders announced a new deal with Hesdy Gerges and right after that with excellent Robin van Roosmalen. The Dutch kickboxer and Glory lightweight champ will be the biggest attraction of the event that will take place in the Greek capital. However, together with the sensational Dutch fighter the event will be reinforced with Ukrainian star Pavel Zhuravlev, former UFC fighter Igor Pokrajac and Samo Petje, FFC -70 division champ and one of the world’s most promising upcoming stars.
Van Roosmalen's FFC contract shook the international fighting
sports scene. After this Glory champ announced his MMA debut, he
got numerous offers from various MMA originations, but he opted for
Final Fight Championship. As main reasons he emphasized the
incredible potential of the FFC on the international scene. This 26
year old Dutch fighter did three successful kickboxing matches last
year. He was last defeated in 2013 by Andy Ristie, but he
retaliated in his first Glory title defense. One of the world's
most known kickboxers is doing combat sports since he was three
years old and he also tried boxing, MMA and judo in which he own a
black belt. Above all, Van Roosmalen is getting ready for his FFC
debut in the UFC with famous Blackzillians team and it would not be
pretentious to say that we might have a new MMA star coming up.
Another big name on the upcoming FFC 22 fight card is definitely Pavel Zhuravlev. This 32-year-old Ukrainian kickboxer has 66 wins under his belt including the ones over some of the biggest names in this sport. Gokhan Saki, Benjamin Adegbuyi, Ismael Londt and Catalin Morosanu are just some of the fighters that left the ring with their head bowed after match with 'The Caiman'. This former Superkombat Grand Prix champion already fought thrice in the FFC. After two initial wins, his winning streak was broken by Hesdy Gerges at FFC 6 in Poreč, Croatia. Zhuravlev will sail into a new season with streak of four consecutive wins.
One of the biggest names in the MMA part of the event will also be Igor Pokrajac. 'The Duke' already revealed his goals for the upcoming year and the first step on his journey will be his match in Greece. This Croatian fighter that sparred with Cro Cop for many years currently has three consecutive wins. However, in his entire career he scored as many as 28 victories. Because of his approach to opponents and his fighting style, he fought in the UFC for five years, while today he fights in the FFC ring.
The last fighter FFC leaders so far announced is Slovenia's Samo Petje. This ambitious 24-year-old FFC champ in -70 division is getting more and more famous in kickboxing circles.
