In anticipation of his bout next week at UFC Fight Night 35, Luke Rockhold joined INSIDE MMA and previewed the highly anticipated headlining fight.
Said Rockhold: "It's gonna hit the ground at some point. I've got a good ground game and I don't think he'll be able to survive with me on the ground if it gets there within five rounds and I guarantee it will.… With my reach and my range I'm gonna unload on him, and then it's gonna hit the ground before the five rounds are up, and he won't get up."

"I feel like Barao's done a great job, especially in his last
couple of fights, of being the well-rounded fighter. You've seen
him take the fight to the ground, use his wrestling, use his
jiu-jitsu. Against me, he was able to slow the pace down, and I'm
not going to let him do that this time."
