Christian Lee Believes He Won the First Rae Yoon Ok Fight, Aims for Big Finish at One 160

Things didn’t go according to plan in Christian Lee’s latest appearance, as the former One Championship lightweight titleholder lost his title to Rae Yoon Ok via unanimous decision at One: Revolution, snapping a six-bout winning streak that night. The decision never sat well with “The Warrior,” who expressed his disappointment on several occasions and invoked an intervention from the One Championship competition committee, hoping to see the result overturned to a no-contest. The committee didn’t change the outcome, but the promotion offered a rematch to Lee in the upcoming One 160 headliner. Now, the 24-year-old is looking to avenge that stinging defeat and aims not to leave the results in the judges’ hands this time.

“I absolutely believe that I did enough to win that fight. Not only was I going into that fight as the champion, and it was a close decision, but I feel like I won every area of the One Championship scoring criteria. I’ve been fighting in One Championship my whole career. I know the scoring system very well. I made sure to hit all the points. I was the closest to getting a finish in the fight. I did the most damage in the fight. I broke his orbital in the first round, and I continued to lay the strikes on for the rest of the fight. I definitely feel like I won every area in that fight. Ok Rae Yoon was more just surviving, doing his best to go the distance. I was upset with how the decision went, but I'm at peace with it now. And I'm just looking forward to making a statement, putting a big end to this rematch.”
