NR | Qileng Aori (18-6, 0-0 UFC) vs. NR | Jeff Molina (8-2, 0-0 UFC)ODDS: Aori (-110), Molina (-110)
This should be an entertaining scrap between UFC newcomers. Molina did not a finish in his Dana White’s Contender Series appearance, but things otherwise went as well as possible for “El Jefe,” who showed his commitment to a high-paced, all-terrain game. There is still the worry that Molina can be controlled by better wrestlers, but as long as he maintains his willingness to keep throwing out offense, he should be a tough out at the very least. He will take on Aori, who has looked solid in the little relevant footage that is available. Aori looks capable of holding his own everywhere, so he has a decent shot at sticking in the UFC, though it is still an open question as to which of his skills can translate against better competition. Aori is a question mark and Molina is defensively open, so this is essentially a coinflip. The pick is for Molina to earn a decision win on the back of pace and volume.
