The two-time Olympic gold medalist laid claim to the undisputed women’s bantamweight crown at UFC 316, where she dispatched Julianna Pena with kimura in the second round of their June 7 co-main event. It extended Harrison’s latest winning streak to four fights and pushed her overall record to 19-1. Moreover, it set the stage for a potential blockbuster showdown with former American Top Team stablemate Amanda Nunes in the months ahead.

As Harrison awaits word from UFC matchmakers regarding the particulars of her next assignment, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied her to this point:

35: Years of age for Harrison, who was born in Middletown, Ohio, on July 2, 1990. New Kids on the Block’s “Step By Step,” Roxette’s “It Must Have Been Love,” Glenn Medeiros’ “She Ain’t Worth It,” Bell Biv DeVoe’s “Poison” and En Vogue’s “Hold On” were the Top 5 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 list at the time.

8: Harrison wins by submission, accounting for 42% of her professional total (19). Her methods of choice: four armbars, one keylock, one arm-triangle choke, one rear-naked choke and one kimura. Harrison holds six other wins by knockout or technical knockout (32%) and five more by decision (26%).

3: Organizations for which Harrison has plied her mixed martial arts trade. In addition to the UFC, she has suited up in the Professional Fighters League and Invicta Fighting Championships.

83: Seconds needed for Harrison to put away Mariana Morais with punches at PFL 3 on May 6, 2021. More than four years later, it remains her fastest finish to date.

2,000,000: Dollars in prize money banked by Harrison for winning PFL women’s lightweight tournaments in 2019 and 2021.

15: Consecutive victories to start Harrison’s career. Larissa Pacheco ended her undefeated run—and her bid for a three-peat—with a five-round unanimous decision in the 2022 PFL women’s lightweight final.

16: Takedown attempts from Harrison in the UFC. She has completed six of them, giving her a 37.5% success rate.

43: Rounds started by Harrison as a mixed martial artist. She has gone the distance on six different occasions and carries a 5-1 record in those bouts.

136: Significant strikes landed by Harrison across her three UFC appearances. She has absorbed only 35 such strikes in return.

.711: Cumulative winning percentage between the three opponents—Pena, Ketlen Vieira and Holly Holm—Harrison has defeated since she joined the UFC roster in 2024.
