Rewind: Greenberg, Genauer

Live radio returned to The Sherdog Radio Network Sunday with another edition of "The SRN Rewind."

Jack Encarnacao jumped back in to the "Rewind" seat for a special double "Sunday Sitdown." Joining him were FuelTV's George Greenberg as well as Fight Metric's. Rami Genauer.

Mixed martial arts is a game of punches, kicks, takedowns, and grappling sequences. However, the sport of brute force and technical application of martial arts skill can be broken down in to numbers and categories. No one is better at that than Fight Metric. Rami Genauer joins Jack this week to talk about Fight Metric's algorithm and why the site scores fights the way they do. Genauer also breaks down the Diaz-Condit decision and what exactly constitutes as a significant strike.

The Fox family of networks have jumped head first in to the game of mixed martial arts. This week it is FuelTV who showcases the UFC's product. On Wednesday night in Omaha, Nebraska Fuel will air the UFC on Fuel “Ellenberger vs. Sanchez” card. Executive Vice President of FuelTV George Greenberg joined Jack Encarnacao to talk about Fuel's role with the UFC. Greenberg also chats about his interest in mixed martial arts and why he feels the UFC will benefit FOX and Fuel in particular.
