The Pride Fighting Championships legend discussed a proposal from Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship to face boxing icon Mike Tyson.
“I copied his aggressive style and even the way he looks to his opponents,” said Silva, who is no stranger to competing sans gloves. “It´s in boxing rules but with no gloves and I started my career doing three fights in the same night with no gloves. The fact is that is going to be a fight that all fighting fans would love. The best boxer against the best MMA guys in totally different rules for both.”
Silva also discussed the potential conflict involving Rafael Cordeiro: “He is living in [the] USA [and] I accept he trains Tyson, but I can’t accept my master in the other corner. That´s never gonna happen.”
